EKTA RANA VOCALS
Ekta Rana is blessed with a very clean and beautiful vocal tone. Ekta has learnt Indian Classical music under the tutelage of Ustad Mehboob Nadeem and Sushma Zaveri ji. She has performed for various concerts and events and is always experimenting with music, mashups and fusion. The name Ekta means unity and she has certainly united Keval and Filippo to create this beautifully fresh and melodius sound of music.
FILIPPO DALL'ASTA GUITAR
Filippo Dall’Asta is an Italian Gypsy jazz guitarist, composer, bandleader and arranger, mixing the sounds of Gypsy jazz and his native Italy with traditional Indian music, to forge his own style of progressive guitar playing.
Filippo began playing at the age of 5 in Parma, Italy, and studied music in his native country as well as Germany, Holland and India.

In 2010, at the age of 23, he arrived in the UK. He has toured and recorded with hundreds of artists such as Lollo Meier, Mozes Rosenberg, John Wheatcroft, Gypsy Dynamite, Harp Bazaar, Tara Minton (Björk), Mehboob Nadeem, The Onironauts and many more. His touring resume covers Germany, India, Italy, France, Spain, England, Malta and Russia, with notable appearances at The Royal Albert Hall, the House of Parliament, the Tower of London, the Union Chapel, and many festivals in France and Italy.
KEVAL JOSHI TABLA / PERCUSSION
Keval Joshi is well known and sought after Tabla player. A Gandhaband Shagird (student) of Ustad Ghulam Ali. Having been performing for over 25 years, Keval has performed with many many singers and musicians from India and Pakistan. Keval's training hails from the Punjab Gharana and has been heavily influenced by the Late Ustad Arshad Ali Khan and the legendary Abdul Sattar Khan Tari. Keval has worked on West End Stage productions for the Globe, Stafford East and has performed live tadio sessions with the BBC 3 Radio and Royal London Phillharmonic orchestra. Keval believes tabla should be played with sweetness, grace, elegance and should touch the heart of the listener and audience.
